Welcome to Inspired Life

Schools, workplaces, and even churches place a big emphasis on teaching and training people in what to know (head) and what to do (hands). However, what is most often neglected is the emotional health and maturity of the person (heart). What we have found is that where emotional health, skills, and culture are lacking, you will see more absenteeism, mistrust, poor communication, faltering leadership, strained relationships, burn out, and stunted spiritual growth, and we see this a lot!

Training people and groups to grow in heart skills not only helps them become better employees, leaders, spouses, parents, teams, and friends, it gives them the tools to become a healthy and mature individual. Inspired Life, Inspired Leadership, and Inspired Marriage are all dedicated to helping people, organizations, and couples realize their goals through assessment, workshops, and coaching.

Tony's presentation was thoughtful and filled with great insights and ideas that helped our team, and Tony's one-on-one coaching was excellent, helping flesh out ideas for growth through careful and engaged listening, leading to doable coaching plans to strengthen areas in need of growth. I would absolutely recommend Tony to help individuals and organizations looking to catalyze healthier teams and interpersonal relationships."  -Andrew

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process at Inspired Life?

The process at Inspired Life starts with assessment and debriefing to give you and your coach a good understanding of your strengths and areas to develop. Your coach will help you develop a plan that is right for you, and ongoing coaching ensures your continued progress towards reaching your goals.

We also offer workshops and seminars in emotional intelligence and marriage, which work in conjunction with the process.

What is Emotional Intelligence and why do I need it?

Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to perceive, understand, and manage one’s own emotions and relationships. It involves being aware of emotions in oneself and others and using this awareness to guide thinking and behavior. Emotionally intelligent individuals can motivate themselves, read social cues, and build strong relationships

Having a higher level of emotional intelligence allows one to empathize with others, communicate effectively, and be both self and socially aware. It is also key to responding to stress and decisions with resilience, resourcefulness, and wisdom. How people respond to themselves and others impacts all types of environments.

Emotional intelligence is also valuable for leaders who set the tone of their organization. If leaders lack emotional intelligence, it could have more far-reaching consequences, resulting in lower worker engagement and a higher turnover rate. While one might excel at one’s job technically, if one cannot effectively communicate with one’s team or collaborate with others, those specialized skills will get neglected.

Emotional intelligence helps one build stronger relationships, succeed at work or school, and achieve one’s career and personal goals, as well as reduce group stress, defuse conflict, and enhance job satisfaction.
